Anne Eliot is the bestselling author of young adult books: Almost, Unmaking Hunter Kennedy, as well as a new series, How I Fall & How I Fly.
Her work, Almost, is an issue-based YA romance about a girl who has PTSD. It has been sold into print for Turkish and German tranlsations by her amazing agent, Jane Dystel of DGLM.com. Unmaking Hunter Kennedy is a rockstar romance about a teen pop star recovering from teen depression who falls in love with the girl next door. How I Fall is a 'crush romance' about an amazing, strong girl who's grown up hiding her Cerebral Palsy/hemiparesis who discovers her long time, impossible crush also has had a crush on her all along.
She loves writing about teens who live outside the ordinary and she's devoted to stories with sweet first kisses and first loves. When she's not writing she's reading about medieval times, Vikings, scouring dusty bookshops, and goofing off in general.
Anne resides in Colorado with a very patient husband, kids she adores (near and far) who are all growing up too fast. She also has one twelve pound dog named Pico de-Guy who loves to chew up expensive electronics.
She can also be found dreaming on tumblr or tweeting@yaromance or goofing off on Facebook because, yes...she does procrastinate very well.
She loves to volunteer, work with teen writers, visit schools. speak at libraries, teach at writers conferences--just ask--and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), Romance Writers of America (RWA), Pikes Peak Writers and DBW.
